LAHORE: The government has resorted to underhand tactics to protect the corrupt, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said on Saturday.
Tax breaks are being provided to large corporations while the poor are being heavily taxed, she said. “The PTI will bring workers to the streets on December 22 and show the government that they will not let the corrupt regime trample over their rights,” she said.
General Secretary Yasmin Rashid said the government’s bid to stop vote recount stood exposed.
