Unknown armed riders opened fire and injured two traffic police officials. Police reached the site soon after and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital Quetta.
One of the injured, identified as Muhammad Yousaf, succumbed to his injuries while the condition of Faiz Muhammad is stated to be critical. The assailants fled. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
