Unidentified killers: University teacher shot dead

The Professors and Lecturers Association Bahawalpur chapter condemned the incident.

BAHAWALPUR: A Government Sadiq Egerten College University assistant professor was shot dead on Friday. Police said Jahan Ara of the Arabic Department was on her way home from the university when some men in a car stopped her near her house in Riaz Colony and shot her. She was taken to Bahawal Victoria Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The Professors and Lecturers Association Bahawalpur chapter condemned the incident. They have also announced a protest rally from the university building to University Chowk on Saturday (today).
