Dangerous leak: 15 people injured in gas cylinder explosion

The incident took place in Jinnah Colony in Latifabad Unit-12 on Friday.

A gas cylinder explosion in a house left 15 people injured with burns wounds while also damaging three other houses in the neighbourhood.

The incident took place in Jinnah Colony in Latifabad Unit-12 on Friday.

The blast spread panic as the area is adjacent to the army’s Sindh Regiment Center.

According to the Bomb Disposal Squad’s inspector Saleem Vistro, the explosion occurred in a kitchen.

“There was a gas leakage in the kitchen. As soon as Kausar Fatima lit fire, the cylinder burst and flames engulfed the house.”

The walls of two adjoining houses also collapsed. Children and women were among the injured.
