Nelson Mandela is a success story for humanity, equality, and justice.
KHAIRPUR: Nelson Mandela is not the name of a particular person or a particular identity. Neither does it belong to any particular region. It belongs to the whole of humanity. Nelson Mandela is a success story for humanity, equality, and justice. While recalling his successes — appreciating how far Mandela has led us — let us not forget to keep moving until equality, justice, freedom and humanity are restored in every nook and corner of the world.
As Mandela once said, “For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”
The following words of Jawaharlal Nehru, “If I do well in this world, I don’t care about the next one” fit very well on Mandela, who has done so well in this world that there is rarely anyone in recent history who can match his stature. RIP Nelson Mandela.
