KARACHI: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society’s (PRCS) youth and volunteer wing celebrated the International Volunteer’s Day at an event arranged at the Sindh Boy Scouts Association in Karachi. Out of a total of 250 volunteers, 30 were awarded shields of distinction for their performances. PRCS Sindh chairperson Farzana Naik highlighted the importance of youth volunteers. Naik congratulated the recipients of the award and praised the role of youth and volunteer department of PRCS for not only providing awareness to the public but also preparing volunteers to combat any disastrous situations.
