Need-based: US scholarships welcomed

HEC Executive Director Dr Mukhtar Ahmed said 3,000 deserving students will be given scholarship.

A well-educated population is the foundation of a strong economy. The United States is proud to have invested in the country’s higher education sector over the last five decades. 


This was stated by USAID Office of Pakistan and Afghanistan Assistant Administrator Larry Sampler at the Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University on Wednesday. He was speaking at an interactive session with USAID-funded merit and need-based scholarship programme beneficiaries to celebrate their academic achievement and discuss their progress.


HEC Executive Director Dr Mukhtar Ahmed said 3,000 deserving students will be given scholarship.

i always jst think that all scholorships are offerd to brillient stdnts so how will avrage stdnt accomodate in higher edu?
