Anti-polio drive: ‘1.3m children administered drops’

Sadiq said the Health Department focused on transit points in the campaign.

FAISALABAD: “The Health Department teams have administered polio drops to 100,826 more children than the target set for the anti-polio campaign in the district,” Health Executive District Officer Rana Waqar Sadiq said on Wednesday. “The teams were given a target of 1,188,067 children up to the age of five years but the teams have managed to immunise 1,288,893 children,” he said. Sadiq said the Health Department focused on transit points in the campaign.
