Point blank: Woman shot dead by unidentified assailant

HAFIZABAD: A woman was shot dead by an unidentified assailant at her house, police said. They said the woman’s husband, an ambulance driver, was out of station when the murderer entered the house in Mohalla Akhtar Town and shot the woman in the head.

The assailant fled. Police said initial investigations suggested that the assailant had entered the house by scaling a wall.
