Steel cutting ceremony: Construction of PN fleet tanker starts

The tanker is being built with Turkish cooperation.

KARACHI: Inauguration of the construction of a 17,000 tons fleet tanker of Pakistan Navy at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works was marked with a steel cutting ceremony performed by the Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain. The tanker is being built with Turkish cooperation. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Turkey, Sadiq Babur Girgin, Vice Admiral Zakaullah and other high ranking civil and military officials from Turkey and Pakistan.
