Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai: 270th Urs celebrations from Dec 19

Five books on various aspects of Shah Bhitai’s poetry will also be launched on the occasion.

HYDERABAD: The 270th annual Urs of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai will be celebrated from December 19. A meeting, chaired by the culture secretary, Saeed Ahmed Aiwan, was held in Bhit Shah on Monday to review arrangements for the occasion. The three-day celebrations will feature traditional sufi music nights, literary conference, trade and agricultural exhibitions, animal shows and traditional wrestling among other activities. Five books on various aspects of Shah Bhitai’s poetry will also be launched on the occasion.
