The defence minister claimed that Indian coastal security is now “vibrant” and “strong” as compared to 2008, when Mumbai attacks occurred.
"Before 26/11, coastal security apparatus was very weak but now we have been able to establish a vibrant and strong coastal security," Antony said.
He further said coordination with other stakeholders involved in coastal security has also improved.

@shiraz: NOTE that NOWHERE in those articles you point to does anything remotely close to your "more than 10,000 (Pakistanis killed)" number exist!!! As for "connections" you refer to, only locations in disputed Kashmir are mentioned in those articles, and none inside Pakistan!
It took a while to conclude that ‘Samjhota Express’ fire was an inside job done by RSS, India, in connivance with a serving colonel. It took a while to know that parliament attacks blamed on Pakistan was actually a false flag operation.
And it will take a while to fully establish and come to the conclusion that Mumbai attack was a well orchestrated false flag operation done to make anti terrorist laws more meaningful and strict. “13/12/2001 (attack on parliament) was followed by PoTA (Prevention of Terrorist Activities Act) and 26/11/2008 (terrorists’ siege of Mumbai) was followed by amendment to the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act).”

@shiraz: If Pakistan really believes in what one person "claims" , then you should believe what Ajmal Kasab "claimed" about your ISI and LeT involvement. Not just that you should also believe in your ex PM Yousuf Gillani and Sherry Rehman accepting the involvement of Pakistanis on Mumbai attack. What the retired general Vijay Kumar claims or Pakistan claims has not been established with any evidence so far. And if Hindu India can incite violence between muslims in Pakistan than what does it say of your dream of "Ummah" and Muslim unity and blah blah. Your arguments are always bunch of contradictions.

Remember a problem can be solved, only when you accept that there is a problem. The question you need to ask yourself is why your government has not raised voice against alleged Indian hand in terrorist attacks. Try to look things dispassionately and truth would emerge out.
I find it difficult to understand that the Pakistani people still feel that the terrorist are hurting India more than they are hurting Pakistan. You don't require a PHD to understand the difference.How naive of these people. May Allah save you.

For those claiming it to be an inside job, quoting a Indian retired officer, Pakistan's ISI have submitted a detailed written report to Pakistan's government and courts confirming the presence of several training camps in Pakistan where the terrorists planned the mumbai attacks.
The terrorists who attacked Mumbai will not escape punishment and they shall take down Pakistan with them. Had Pakistan been sincere in investigating and punishing the terrorists immediately after the Mumbai attacks they could have saved much of the blowback the terrorists shall bring to Pakistan itself. By promoting conspiracy theories and denials, Pakistan has made the matters worse for them. Now, the terrorists, if they are ever convicted, shall claim Pakistan's own denials and justify their attacks on Pakistan itself. If Pakistan fails to convict the terrorists, India and USA shall not keep quiet and they shall take their own action on the terrorists or on Pakistan which will only be too bad for Pakistan. The more Pakistan' delays the action on terrorists and the more Pakistan keeps on denying, the worser it shall become for Pakistan. If someone can calculate the cost that Pakistan has already paid for its denials and protecting the terrorists, they will realize that the loss they have already suffered is huge.
That's nice - but what's the point in having a big expensive military if your neighbor feels comfortable training "non state actors" to attack you? Unless Pakistan firmly believes that India will have a military response to such attacks "coastal security" doesn't mean all that much. . What do you think the American's would have done in your shoes? I suspect everyone involved in the planning this attack would be dead or sitting in an American jail and Pakistan would either be helping or under military enforced embargo.
