The Chaman-based club took an early lead when Amanuddin scored the opening goal in the 13th minute of the match. However, Asif Bux equalised for Navy in the 22nd minute, though Muslim FC quickly regained the lead six minutes
later with Saeedur Rehman’s goal.
Muslim FC’s key player Hayatullah went on to seal victory in the 40th minute. The win assured them a leading position in the league among 16 teams.
They have 36 points with the win after playing 19 matches in the season. Their tally includes 10 wins, six draws and three defeats.
“We want to make a mark and we’ll finish this season among the top teams,” Muslim FC captain Abdul Qadeer told The Express Tribune.
