K-P Minister for Finance Sirajul Haq led the group of parliamentarians, while Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak could not accompany the protesters.
The parliamentarians walked all the way to the consulate to submit the four-page memorandum.
The K-P coalition partners plan to do the same in Islamabad. Advisor to CM Shiraz Paracha had said that the provincial government will go all out to lodge a peaceful protest on international and national levels.
PTI supporters have also been holding sit-ins in parts of K-P in their attempt to block Nato supply routes.

Just close the consulate there and keep an eye on any American Terrorist that is there for humanitarian work for Afghan Refugees. Let The American Terrorist be sent over border to Kabul along with the people they intend to serve in KP.
As a resident of Peshawar, I am completely against US consulate presence in prime location of Peshawar which blocks commute for locals, roads for their security and creates hazard for ordinary Peshawarite in every shape or form i.e. breed terrorist activity, create traffic problems and destroyed peaceful environment of Peshawar.
I request that US Consulate be removed from Peshawar ASAP and anyone who has to deal with US immigration issues can travel to ISLAMABAD which is just 2 hrs away.

Imran Khan, is the only real Leader.
If a country cannot and will not control the militants within its borders, and those miltants are proven to be behind international terrorism, then international forces will take action against those terrorists. The fact is that 90% of terrorists hide in Pakistan, 90% of 911 planners were caught from Pakistan, and 90% of international terrorists were found to have gotten training in Pakistan. It is Pakistan's duty to control, catch, and punish each and every one of those terrorists. Since it cannot, has not been able to do so, particularly in the tribal areas, the task has been taken over by NATO and America. The drones would NEVER have been an issue had Pakistan itelf taken action to eliminate these terror cells within its own borders just as any sovereign country is expected to do. Imran Khan's rhetoric is shameful and misleading the nation. He should instead be asking Pak Military to take action against those terrorists so America does not have to.

The US money coming to KPK is continuation of Projects by previous Govt. He said himself that if US stops the funding he will get new it from overseas Pakistani to fund any Project. He doesn't care about money he wants peace in Pakistan. Whether you like him or not one thing everyone knows he has no corruption charges after entering Politics.

@abc: Aaah judging on basis of hats and beards. Well that is exactly what most residents of the area look like (particularly rural parts) and the hats are there not necessarily on basis of religion but cause its quite cold at the moment.

Judging by that picture, one can clearly deduce that TTP has now taken up residence in the settled areas of KPK. May Allah have mercy on KPK!
