Green Panel wins: Press photographers’ body polls held

Candidates of Green Panel bagged all seats with heavy lead in annual elections 2014 of PAPP.

KARACHI: Candidates of Green Panel bagged all the seats with heavy lead in the annual elections for the year 2014 of Pakistan Association of Press Photographers (PAPP). The polling was held at Karachi Press Club yesterday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.  According to the results issued by the election commission, Shoaib Ahmed was elected as president, Saeed Iqbal as vice-president, Athar Khan as general secretary, Farid Khan as joint secretary and Hamid Hussain as treasurer. The president of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Rana Azeem, its secretary general Amin Yousaf, president Karachi Union of Journalists GM Jamali and its general secretary Wajid Raza Isphani have congratulated the Green Panel for its success. Meanwhile, the leader of PPP Owais Muzaffar has also congratulated the newly elected office bearers of PAPP.
