Three employees of the Gwadar Development Industrial Authority (GDIA) were found dead and another unconscious in a room of the their office building in Gwadar on Saturday.
According to Gwadar police, three people died of asphyxiation in the New Town building, while another was found unconscious.
“The employees started the generator inside the room due to a power breakdown in town. They went to sleep before turning off the generator, which began emitting smoke,” Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Tufail Baloch told The Express Tribune. “The fumes filled the room and killed three people.”
