PESHAWAR: On a call from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council and Peshawar District Bar Association (PDBA), all lawyers from across the province boycotted court activities on Saturday, in connection to the Rawalpindi violence and the Hangu drone strike.

PDBA President Maulana Shamsul Haq told the media all lawyers across the province were aggrieved over the violent incident which took place in Rawalpindi and demanded the government arrest the culprits involved.

Talking about the drone attack in Hangu, Haq argued the US had now extended its attacks from the tribal areas to settled areas. Drone strikes were breaching the country’s sovereignty, he claimed, the government should to take the issue seriously.
