Domestic violence: Woman ‘beaten up’ by husband, mother

ISLAMABAD: The Golra police have registered a case against a man and his mother for allegedly beating up a woman. According to the police, Safdar Zaman reported that his daughter, Safia, was beaten up by her husband, Muhammad Fayyaz, and his mother, Nazeeran at their house in Fatah Buksh. The police booked Fayyaz and Nazeeran on assault charges after receiving the medical report of Safya injuries. However, no arrests had been made till the filing of this report.
