CHAMAN: Two bullet-riddled bodies were found in a graveyard in Mir Alizai area of Chaman on Thursday.

Police said that unidentified men killed two people and dumped their bodies in the graveyard. According to doctors, the victims were shot in their heads.

The Levies force stated that they found a chit near the bodies which revealed that the victims were personnel of Afghan Police belonging to Kandahar province of Afghanistan. According to initial details, the deceased were shot dead for joining Afghan Police.

The bodies were shifted to a hospital morgue by the Levies Force. Further investigations are underway.

Previous attack in Chaman

On October 2, a suicide bomber crossing into Pakistan from Afghanistan had detonated the explosives strapped to his body when border guards stopped him at a crossing point in Chaman town. At least six people – three civilians and as many border guards – were killed and over a dozen wounded in the incident which took place at Bab-e-Dosti, or Friendship Gate, on the Pak-Afghan border.
