Roadside bomb: Khasadar official injured in blast
The explosion occurred at around 8am, injuring an official identified as Hussain Ahmad.

A roadside remote-controlled bomb blast injured a khasadar official in Landikotal, Khyber Agency on Tuesday. Line officer Amjid Shinwari said the bomb was planted by unidentified militants near a khasadar check post in Sultankhel. He said the explosion occurred at around 8am, injuring an official identified as Hussain Ahmad, a resident of Bazaar Zakakhel who sustained critical injuries and was shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex. He added no further loss of life or property was reported in the incident. Shinwari said khasadar personnel and officials of the political administration rushed to the spot immediately and launched a search operation. The officials defused another bomb planted in a pressure cooker, however, no one was arrested till the filing of this report.
