Top-seed Hania Naveed began her campaign at the inaugural Sindh Archive Trophy Ranking Tennis Championship women’s singles event with a win at Bath Island Club yesterday.
Hania defeated Seher Khwaja 6-1, 7-5 to progress into the second round, whereas Samia Khan also moved into the main draw with her win against Amber Khan, who conceded the match during the second set after was losing 6-2, 2-0.
Meanwhile, Bilal Imran Lohya defeated Nouman Aftabb 6-2, 6-3 to move into the final of the U13 singles event. Muhammad Dada also overcame Rayyan Jawed 6-0, 7-5 in the quarter-final match.
