A safer place? Governor claims security has improved

Says rising prices of property and trends in the KSE as proof that investors are willing to invest in Karachi again.

KARACHI: Sindh governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan stated that the security situation in the province has improved due to the effective and coordinated measures being undertaken by the authorities. While talking to the consul-generals of the United States and Sri Lanka and the acting consul-general of United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, Khan said improved safety has enhanced public confidence while underlining the government’s determination to maintain law and order in the province on a permanent basis. He referred to the rising prices of property and the rising trends in the Karachi Stock Exchange as proof that investors are willing to invest in Karachi again.
