Pakistan and Kuwait signed several accords including an agreement on exchange of prisoners after high-level talks between the two countries here on Monday.
The extradition treaty was signed by the interior ministers of the two countries following formal talks between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al Hamad Al-Sabah. The visiting Kuwaiti delegation included minister of foreign affairs and other senior officials.
During the meeting, bilateral and regional matters were discussed.
The Kuwaiti prime minister said that Kuwait also hosts a large Pakistani community which is making positive contributions to the development of Kuwait and is sending remittances supporting Pakistan’s economy as well.
He reiterated the commitment of the Kuwaiti government to further strengthen the ties between the two governments and their people. He said that Pakistan has been a trustworthy friend.
The prime minister encouraged Kuwaiti businessmen to benefit from the conducive trade environment in Pakistan. It was highlighted that there is great potential for increased cooperation in a broad spectrum of areas, including trade, investment, energy and agriculture.
The two prime ministers expressed confidence that the fraternal bonds between Pakistan and Kuwait would continue to grow and gain strength from strength. The leaders were convinced that they would make joint efforts to carry forward these bonds of friendship and trust to future generations.

@XYZ: The temporary ban was for Afghans, Pakistanis, Iraqis, Syrians and Iranians. There are thousand of Pakistani working in Kuwait as of today and the ban was a temporary step due to the Afghan war and the Syrian conflict. The ban has been lifted or in the process of being lifted.

what a joke. The kuwaiti govt doesn't even issue any visas to Pakistanis, so how will this 'bilateral relationship' work?
