India would reiterate its demand for peace on the Line of Control and the international border for moving ahead with the dialogue process, Times of India quoted Akbaruddin as telling reporters on Saturday.
He said the two officials would “take up the outcome of the last meeting – that for India and Pakistan to engage it is important, as a precondition that there should be peace and tranquillity on the Line of Control.”
Aziz has also sought a meeting with the prime minister during the visit, the spokesperson said.
Aziz also wishes to meet some leaders of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) in Delhi. Sources in the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) told IANS in Srinagar that JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik has received an invitation to meet Aziz when the latter arrives in New Delhi on Nov 10.
