Commemoration: AIOU celebrates Iqbal Day

LAHORE: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) organised a ceremony at its regional campus to mark the 136th birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal on Saturday. Vice Chancellor Nazir Ahmad Sanghi told participants, “If we want to progress, we must try to understand the vision Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Iqbal had for Pakistan.” He said, “We must work together to deal with the challenges our country is faced with.” Sanghi said the AIOU had launched 1,200 professional skills development courses that students should benefit from.
