“I did some embroidery for the film, specifically for Prince Charming, the King and the Grand Duke,” Maheen tells The Express Tribune.

Fashion doyenne Maheen Khan has long been associated with excellent craftsmanship and minimilstic design.

This feature seems to have impressed Hollywood costume designers, as she has in the past been approached to design for Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, Elizabeth I, Elizabeth II, Alexander, Golden Age and Snow White and the Huntsman. Now, designs from her Embroidery House have been supplied to the cast of upcoming flick Cinderella.

“I did some embroidery for the film, specifically for Prince Charming, the King and the Grand Duke,” Maheen tells The Express Tribune.

The movie, which is scheduled to release on March 13, 2015, is being directed by Kenneth Branagh. The cast includes Helena Bonham Carter and Cate Blanchett, amongst a host of others.

Cinderella is a Walt Disney production and will be shot at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. We are so proud of Maheen!
