Sex crime: Two raped in their homes

Police say one of the three suspects has been arrested.

A woman and a 13-year-old girl were reported to have been raped in Channi Goth area on Friday. One of the suspects has been arrested.


Police said the girl was asleep on the roof of the family home when two men climbed up the roof. They took the girl in a room at gunpoint and raped her.

Police said her family heard her shout and rushed to rescue her.

They tried to break the door of the room, but the suspects threatened to kill the girl and were given a safe passage.

However, on their way out, police said, the girl’s family caught one of them, while his accomplice fled.

He was handed over to the police. The girl was taken to a hospital, where doctors treating her said that she would likely survive.

Elsewhere, in Panu Jhalaan village, a woman was raped at her house at gunpoint, while her parents were working the field. After the suspect fled, she went to the field and informed her parents.

Both cases have been reported at the Channi Goth police station.

Station House Officer Ghulam Rasool Bhatti said DNA samples had been sent to a laboratory.

Boy sexually assaulted in Faisalabad

In Faisalabad, a class 4 boy was sexually assaulted on Thursday allegedly by a neighbour.

Nishatabad police said the boy, a resident of Chak 7-JB, was playing in front of his house when the suspect abducted him and took him to a nearby field.

He then sexually assaulted him.

Police quoted the boy’s uncle as saying that some passers-by had seen the suspect and tried to catch him, but failed. They then informed the boy’s parents. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors treating him said that his condition was critical.

The station house officer said that a case had been registered against the suspect. He said police were looking for the suspect.

Also, a seven-year-old girl was rescued by some passers-by when a man was trying to rape her.

Millat Town police said the girl was home alone. They said the suspect entered the house by scaling a wall.

They said the girl started shouting for help and ran towards the main door. Some neighbours heard her and entered the house.

Some of them entered the house by an attached roof. On seeing the people, the suspect fled. The SHO said that the girl was unharmed. He said a police team was looking for the suspect.

See,...here is the dilemma,..in this extreme version of the religion. Where will they find the 4 adult male witnesses????
