A delegation of Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE) along with members of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) visited Roots School System DHA-I on Thursday. They were welcomed by students of all classes with messages of peace and love.

The student body had decorated the school with traditional stalls of various countries and students were dressed accordingly. Delegates were welcomed with the beat of ‘dhols’ by students attired in Punjabi costumes and performing bhangra. Among the South Asian countries, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, Maldives, Malaysia and Butan were majestically depicted with their rich culture, cuisine, customs and heritage. The delegates toured the stalls and appreciated the students’ hard work.

CAAYE President Rahul Mirchandani thanked students and said “Our perception of Pakistan has completely changed and we are going back as ambassadors of peace”.

President ICCI thanked Khadija Mushtaq, director of Roots School System for her dynamic leadership and contribution in the field of education.
