Scholar killed in Peshawar

Unidentified gunmen shoot dead a scholar, Sardar Hussain in Peshawar.

PESHAWAR:

Unidentified gunmen on Thursday shot dead a scholar, Sardar Hussain in Peshawar.

Hussain stepped out of his house this morning when the assailants opened fire on him and severely injured him. He was taken to the Lady Reading Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The attackers managed to flee from the scene, while the police have registered a case against them.

The deceased was a resident of the old Peshawar area, and a petrol station owner.
