Crackdown: ‘Robbers’ killed in shootout with police

Shamsi said the shootout had gone on for eight hours.

MULTAN: Two robbery suspects were killed in a shoot out with police in Rajanpur on Tuesday. Bangle Icha police SHO Irshad Shamsi told the media that several Chotu Gang members had opened fire at police when their hideouts were raided by police. The SHO said robbers Abdul Shakoor and Ghulam Ullah were killed in the shootout. He said both men were wanted in over 30 cases of robbery and kidnapping in the tribal belt of Rajanpur. Shamsi said the shootout had gone on for eight hours.
