Nisar, while talking to the participants of the 99th National Management Course for senior officers in Islamabad‚ on Tuesday, said that in addition to the revival of Nacta and a joint intelligence directorate, a Rapid Response Force will also be created, complete with an air-wing to urgently tackle terrorism related emergencies.
The Minister added that homework for imminent negotiations with the Taliban had been completed in consultation with all stake holders.

You seem to be living the life of Rehman baba, Mr Chaudhry Nisar. Think original. And act without delay.
Welcome back to Pakistan...Interiors minister...heard you after a long time...how was your vacation...
Previous government (although not good but) was much better than the current one. Their PM was more involved in day to day affairs of the parliament/government and was based inside the country, unlike current PM who is totally clueless and absolutely absent. The previous finance minister was a technocrat, current munshi ji might know how to launder money but doesn't understand the ABCs of economics. Previous government had more input of various departments in foreign affairs and there was more brainstorming before major visits. Interior ministry was run by a career investigation officer, unlike now when it is run by a confused person who thinks he is the leader of the opposition. Cronies and family members are sitting in confidential meetings, and are calling the shots. This comparison just shows how bad the current regime is.
@Adnan Siddiqi: What new ideas he is bringing in? What he says is an odd random amalgam of what Rehman Malik was doing and what Imran Khan is saying.
This time it will be under the prime minister or the interior ministry? If the latter, how it can be kosher this time. Just beats me.
At least the guy has some ideas on how to eradicate terrorism and the barbarians being nurtured in the lawless tribal areas. Surely beats the notion of opening of offices of TTP in Pakistan as suggested by some numskulls.
So Ch. Nisar, the Minister has done all the needed homework for "imminent negotiations" with the Taliban. He claims the process had been completed in consultation with all "stake holders". I'm sure this includes all the terrorists of various denominations and hues, all who are inflicting permanent and painful scars on our national psyche. Is this man for real, "all the stake holders" -----my foot---- my frigging little left toe for all such deluded thinking!
well done God bless you with power and wisdom to make good decisions for pakistan
keep dreaming
Nisar, are you sure that after establishing NACTA, you will get prior information as where the suicide bomber is going to blow himself?
Will NACTAbe able to apprehend the master minds of suicide and other blasts in Pakistan?
