KARACHI: The Karachi Transport Action Committee has expressed concern over the deteriorating state of the roads in the city. Transporters claimed that potholes, unattended diggings and uncovered manholes are making it increasingly dangerous to drive. They were particularly aggrieved about the stretch between Qalandria Chowk in North Nazimabad to Asghar Ali Shah Stadium and Qasba Morr in Orangi Town to Banaras Chowk. Uncovered manholes are common at the Five Star Chowrangi traffic signal and the Gharibabad road connecting Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hasan Square, they claimed.
