Addressing a press conference at Peshawar press club, he alleged that Asfandyar Wali Khan and Afrasiab Khattak had agreed to this deal during their visit to America.
“No one knows the purpose of their visit to America, I think they were bargaining on Pakhtuns there,” said Hoti.
Hoti said that a Pakistani American citizen had come to his home looking to strike a deal. After he had refused to help him, the man “demanded to meet three senior members of the party.”
Hoti had given him the names of Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Afzal Khan Lala and Begum Naseem Wali Khan.
The unknown man had arranged meetings with Begum Naseem and Afzal Khan Lala, claimed Hoti, adding that he had also held two meetings with Asfandyar.
Hoti said the man had visited his home after the meetings and had said that the coming five years will be a continuous war in Khyber-Paktunkhwa.
“I have never enquired from Afzal Khan Lala about the meetings with that man, however, when I asked Begum Naseem Wali Khan, she refused to give me any information,” continued Hoti.
Earlier, ANP had ejected Hoti from the party on grounds of violating party discipline by demanding the resignation of Asfandyar and Afrasiab.
In September, Senator Hoti, who blamed party leadership for ANP’s heavy defeat in the general elections of May 11, had warned that if Asfandyar did not quit soon, he would open up a ‘Pandora’s Box’ against him.
Hoti had said he had been looking at the party affairs for several years and had apprised the leadership of his apprehensions but his concerns went unheeded.

Notwithstanding the corruption of Wali Khan's family Azam Hoti himself has a tainted past when he was kicked out from Communications & Works Ministry on charges of corruption during the tenure of PMLN.
As I see Azam Khan has yet to come up with some substantial proofs to back up his allegations - but the ANP haters will never let go any opportunity to malign the leaders of ANP.

Anyone who knows anything about the 2008 ANP government is well aware of the fact that Azam Khan Hoti himself was more corrupt than most of the party put together.

Just what exactly did the US pay $35 million for???( ignoring bloodshed in K-P is really thin) Where is a copy of the agreement for all to see? Who exactly was paid the funds AND how have they effected any foreign policy difference in K-P? Sorry, this appears to be just another US bashing press release by a publicity seeking politician! After all, why would a "Dedicated Servant of the People" (Politician?) not let EVERYONE know about the "Coming five years of war in K-P" when he found out about it?????

the whole story appears to be cooked and an attempt to defame some and create confusion in the minds of populace. Going through the comments . section every one has readily agreed / believed that some sort of monetary deal has been struck. . Nobody ever thought why the US authorities shall be willing to pay 35 million dollar? For drone strike they do not care any one The story has its flaws. It is ridiculous to believe that some american citizen came seeking help from some one or searching some one to strike the deal. If any deal is to be struck there shall be specific person / organisation capable to take care of their interest . This is the norm even for commercial deal / business.. It is a pity that every one is more than willing to believe such statements/ story without applying the mind.
What is all this fuss?. For a Pakhtun this is nothing new to make some mone . The question is did they give something in return) I very much doubt it!

Where the benificiaries of US$ 35 billions have kept the money and in which bank accounts?
Whether the money is in foreign accounts or in Pakistani bank accounts?
The NAB should investigate the case and if found that US$ 35 billions are kept in the foreign accounts, the entire amount should be brought to Pakistan and the same should be confiscated on the orders of Government of Pakistan and should be kept in the State Bank of Pakistan to return the loans of IMF and the World Bank.
Moreover, the cases should also be opened against the beneficiaries/accused persons and they should be punished according to the law of the land which should also include a "life time" ban on contesting general elections and holding public offices.

As a Pukhtun from Mardan, I knew the shenanigans of Asfandyar Wali Khan and Begum Naseem Wali Khan, Mr.Khan came to Washington DC and was wined and dined by the State Department and Pentagon. He visited Pentagon for what purpose , we don't know but not every political leader from Pakistan is invited to the State Department and specially to Pentagon. I have written about his visit and questioned it before in Frontier Post and ET but it never saw the day light. Now an insider who is also tainted up to his neck in corruption is spilling the beans because he was booted out from the party, well, he could join PPP now. These politicians has sold out the country long time ago since the inception of Pakistan and it is nothing new to us, why would the US will be interfering in Pakistan's internal affairs for decades and as the saying goes that the road to Islamabad comes through Washington DC. One should look at their living standards before and after their ascendency to the political power, the only person who worked for the betterment of Pukhtuns was Abdul Qayum Khan, he lived with his daughter till he passed away. During his tenure as a Chief Minister, there were some who were doing corruption too so I will profess that this corruption is ingrained in our blood or psychy. And by the way what this family of Bacha Khan has done for the Pukhtuns, Bacha Khan was a rich man and got awards worth millions from India even after the partition but did he construct any school, college , hospital or even orphanage in K-P with his own wealth, I like to know about it. I must mention that one of Wali's sibling was an educator who served the Pukhtuns and we salute and appreciate his services to the Pukhtuns and the nation, the rest of the family including the Hotis from Mardan are corrupt to the core. God saves K-P from these traitors.

Former Sindh MPA Ameer Nawab of ANP is another example of betrayal of the Pushtuns of Karachi. Rising from a Katchi Abadi then landing in DHA, he never served the Pushtuns except for his relatives and cronies. The 2013 election gave him a good bashing. Thanks to him the people of his constituent get water after 20 days while his area is overflowing.

The question is why Azam Hoti till now remained silent and waited so long for end of term of CM Hoti/ANP, completion of all electoral processes and finally taking over by new regime. It puts a great question mark.
Further why the Pakhtoons have become so mindless and for what to mercilessly massacring their own brothers, sisters, children, common folks, destroying their own cities, mosques, places of worships, heritage and populations and bringing death and destruction to them either by their own bombings or blasting or causing in retaliation by state forces or for that matter drone attacks etc., either in FATA or settled areas. At least Pakhtoons are also human persons and presume to carry some wisdom and must be having their own think tanks to guide, that in the final analysis none but only they are being slaughtered, economically being left behind, their children lagging behind in education and other fine pursuits of life and growing in a burning atmosphere of bloodshed and hatred, abandoning their homes and lands in desperation to take refuge elsewhere whereto known for indulging in same subversive activities, and for all that losses of precious lives and properties gaining nothing but bringing bad name too to them only world over as terrorists, militants, outlaws and what not. The ultimate losers and sufferers in all scenarios are Pakhtoons and their lands who are paying very dearly. They should themselves purge out such subversive elements from their ranks and isolate them and don't allow anyone to play with their and their children lives, holdings and honour.
