Police encounter: Kidnapper killed, child recovered
The accused, identified as Humayum, had kept the child in a house in Ghulam Nabbi Bandha area.

A kidnapper was killed and his wife arrested during a police raid in Pabbi, Nowshera district on Sunday. An abducted child was also recovered. Pabbi police SHO Khalid Khan said they received intelligence information that a man had kidnapped three-year-old Mohsin from Wah Cantt and demanded Rs6 million in ransom. The accused, identified as Humayum, had kept the child in a house in Ghulam Nabbi Bandha area. Khan further said when they raided the house, the accused opened fire at them. Police retaliated, killing Humayun on the spot while his wife was arrested. She confessed during investigation that they had kidnapped the child.
