Kidnapping: Woman seeks case against husband

Christian woman files a petition seeking custody of her children.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought Saanda station house officer’s comments by November 4 in a petition filed by a Christian woman seeking custody of her children. Petitioner Andleena Bibi said she had married Pitras Gill and had three children Bevan Paul, Jose Paul and Adam Paul. She said she later found out that her husband was having an affair with Triqa alias Pinki. She said when she tried to stop her husband from meeting the woman, he beat her. She said a few weeks ago, Gill, Pinki and one Yasir Masih came to her home, locked her up and took away her children. She said she had asked some neighbours to intervene but that did work. She said she then filed a petition before the Lahore High Court. She said the court had directed the police to register a case but that had not happened.She asked the court to direct the police to register a case against her husband and his accomplices.
