Public health: Gynaecology, general wards open at THQ hospital

We want medical facilities to be available to the poor at their doorsteps throughout the province, says Rana Shahzad.

BAHAWALPUR: Bahawalpur Additional Commissioner Rana Shahzad Saeed inaugurated the Gynaecology Ward and General Ward at Ahmadpur East Tehsil Headquarters Hospital on Saturday.

He also handed over a new ambulance to the hospital administration. He said the chief minister had made improvement in the health sector one of the government’s top priorities.

“We want medical facilities to be available to the poor at their doorsteps throughout the province,” he said.

The additional commissioner thanked MPA Qazi Adnan for donating the ambulance and providing surveillance cameras for the Emergency Ward.
