According to an update on KESC’s official Facebook page, the power company will disconnect electricity supply to the police department if the dues worth Rs1.2 billion are not paid in next seven working days.
The KESC had earlier issued a similar notice to the Sindh Police in August. It had said that “numberless meetings, warnings and notices have not brought any positive results.”
The KESC had in past disconnected power supply to the Pakistan Steel Mills, which was later restored after the payment of pending bills.
The company has repeatedly complained about the financial crisis it faces due to the unavailability of funds, which is a direct result of non-payment of bills by public sector entities.

LOL they should have assigned a number to the meeting. That would have helped! Numerous not numberless!
