KARACHI: Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna on Wednesday beat Mark Knowles of the Bahamas and Kohlschreiber of Germany in their ATP Masters Championship match in Shanghai, 7-6 (9/7), 6-2.
In the first set, the team struggled as the opposition took the game to 7-7. However, after multiple ties, Qureshi and Bopanna were able get a break and win the first set 9-7.
After that, the duo charged through the second set with a 6-2 victory.
The Indo-Pak Express will now face 7th seed pair of Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman in the pre-quarter final match.
