Alleged suicide: Student found dead in his home

KARACHI: A 24-year-old student, A*, was found dead in his apartment in Defence Gardens on Wednesday. The deceased, a student of Iqra University, was shot once in the neck. Police officials, quoting the initial investigation, could not confirm if the incident was a case of suicide as they had been unable to locate the murder weapon from the site. The body of the deceased was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy. The victim’s family was unavailable for comment. They, however, told the police that it was a case of suicide.
