Law and order: ‘Karachi operation to continue till all terrorists eliminated’

Memon said an anti-corruption inquiry has been ordered against officials working in effluent treatment plant in Kotri.

Sindh information minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said the operation in Karachi would continue till the elimination of the last terrorist. He was addressing a conference at Pearl Continental hotel on Tuesday.


“Peace will be restored in Karachi at every cost,” he said, appreciating that the police and Rangers were working against the terrorists despite all challenges. Memon said an anti-corruption inquiry has been ordered against officials working in the effluent treatment plant in Kotri. “The Sindh government has released Rs75 million but work has not yet been completed. All those involved in this scam would be brought to task.”

Memon, who also holds the portfolio of industries and commerce ministry, assured the business community that the provincial government would formulate important laws in November.
