Prayers for peace: Condolence reference held

The condolence reference was held for slain provincial law minister Israrullah Gandapur.

PESHAWAR:

A condolence reference was held for slain provincial law minister Israrullah Gandapur in the committee room of Planning and Development Department (P&DD), Civil Secretariat on Monday.

Talking to visitors, P&DD Secretary Dr Asad Ali Khan said the government has lost a credible, intelligent and devoted lawmaker. He added Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was passing through a critical time and prayed for peace and prosperity in the country. P&DD officials also prayed for the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with patience and courage.

Chief Economist Shahab Ali Shah, Monitoring and Evaluation Director General Dil Nawaz Marwat and other P&DD officers attended the event.
