The girl, who sustained head injuries as a result of the fall, was rushed to the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center (JPMC).
SSP South Munir Sheikh said that in her initial statement, the girl said she was first abducted near Abdullah Shah Gazi’s shrine, and taken to the flat in DHA.
SSP Sheikh added that it was when the girl created a ruckus that when she fell and escaped her alleged assaulter. He said there was some conflcting information on whether the girl jumped or had been pushed out of the flat by her attacker.
Police said that they have managed to arrest a suspect, Khalid Khan, from the vicinity. They added that Khan was allegedly found under the influence of intoxicants. Khan has previously been named in an FIR in the Defence police station in 2010.

Do you mean doing justice like what was done in Mukhtar Mai case? I know in Pakistan a murder can be forgiven in exchange for blood money given to close relatives. Is there some thing like that for rape victim where one can given "semen money" in exchange for punishment for rape.
@Syed A. Mateen: Why should the women of the accused's family pay for his crime? Why can't you just wish for exemplary punishment meted out to the accused? It is time our society stops blaming and punishing the women for everything bad that happens around them.
@Mohammed Yusuf We have always had a rape problem. It is only now that the newspapers report on it.
The ambiguous heading suggests that you need to hire staff from India on priority as this is one of the many such cases happened in the past.
