LAHORE:
Several Pakistani businessmen will participate in the World Trade Bridge 2013, to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from November 22 to 28, Punjab Board of Investment and Trade Projects Director Suhail Saleem said on Sunday.
The event would facilitate transfer of technology and help improve the efficiency of local firms, he said, it would also provide a platform for firms to discuss ways to reduce the cost of production. Saleem said that the Pak-Turk Business Association and the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey would facilitate the companies and delegates recommended by the PBIT in obtaining free visas and making travelling arrangements for the event. He said that businessmen from FMCG, agriculture and machine manufacturing sectors would participate in the event.
“The PBIT will provide assistance to participants from Pakistan,” he said, “We encourage businessmen to take part in such events.”
