Over youngster’s murder: Police nab suspected killers
The suspects have been booked for charges of murder, among other counts.
ISLAMABAD:
Six suspects were arrested on Sunday by the Islamabad Police on charges of murdering a 23-year-old. According to the police, Muhammad Mumtaz reported to the Shalimar Police Station that his son, Muhammad Shiraz, was killed after six men pushed him off the roof of the Abu Dhabi Towers in F-11 Markaz. The police registered a case and arrested the suspects nominated in the First Information Report. The accused were identified as Aslam Masih, Forash, Faisal Ijaz, Zameer Haider, Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Akmal. The suspects have been booked for charges of murder, among other counts. The investigation officer on the case, Sub-Inspector Amir Umar, said the men, who are aged between 20 and 25, were involved in drinking liquor when the incident happened.
