Academic Partnership: Universities to work on herbal medicine

An MoU was signed between Karachi University and The Institute of Xinjiang Traditional Uygur Medicine, China.

KARACHI: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by Karachi University’s International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) and The Institute of Xinjiang Traditional Uygur Medicine, China.  Under the MoU, researchers from both universities will share facilities, such as medical plants and binational seminars and conferences will also be organised, with traditional medicine being the main focus of the research carried out under this partnership. The MoU will be effective for the next five years.
