Crime: Woman robbed; house burgled

Ali complained that thieves took away with Rs24,300 cash, a laptop, two mobile phones and valuables.

ISLAMABAD: A woman was robbed and a house burgled in separate incidents in the Airport area during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, Bushra Mazhar lodged a complaint with the local police that two armed robbers intercepted her in the Airport Housing Society and snatched Rs4,500, jewellery, a mobile phone and valuables. Meanwhile, Awais Ali, a resident of Rehimabad, lodged a report with the same police that thieves entered his house by breaking locks and made away with Rs24,300 cash, a laptop, two mobile phones and valuables.
