“Our leader has manfully faced all charges without putting blames on others; so why would he leave the country now that he has got bails in most of the cases?” said Amjad, adding that Musharraf had himself taken the difficult path to return to the country and face the cases.
He said when the Sindh High Court had cancelled his bails in Akbar Bugti and Benazir Bhutto murder cases, it had also asked government not to allow him to leave the country till he got bails in all these cases.
“But there was no condition upon him to stay in the country till his acquittal in all the cases,” he said adding that Musharraf – on the directives of the court – not only surrendered but also faced the charges from which he had been bailed out except for the Lal Mosque case.
Amjad said that after receiving bail in Lal Mosque case, the APML might go to court to challenge the decision of putting his name in the Exit Control List (ECL), if it felt necessary.
“However, the party is no more interested in the ECL issue because our leader wants to re-organise the party after release as he has gained significant popularity due to his principled stance to face the allegations leveled against him,” he added.

why not prosecute Nawaz Sharif for military operations in Karachi in his two tenures. Army operations led to the killing of hundreds of workers or why not charge the police IG sindh for killing Mir Murtaza bhutto noo this is a complete hypocratic state n thats why we get bk earth quakes& floods
Dr,Muhammad Amjad, you got to be kidding us, if I remember correctly, he did flee the court premises right after the judge ordered the police to arrest him. He is not that law abiding person as you portray him, look at his record , he has violated the constitution of the country not once but twice and the world knows it. Did he not stage a coup in 1999 to depose an elected prime minister, did he not declared emergency to perpetuate his illegal rule and then admit it on BBC. It is time that these Bonaparte of Pakistan should be made a precedence and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law of the land for overthrowing an elected government by the barrel of gun and those who abetted him should also be brought to justice. He must stay in Paksitan till he is exonerated by the courts in all cases against him including the military coup.
those who registered cases against him were not expecting he will returned to Pakistan...he came like a brave man...and caught them holding their pant down...
Surely Gen Mushraff will face all cases, which will never be decided by the courts as the honorable judges are aware of the uncermonial exist of CJ Afzal Zullaha who perhaphs for the first time in the history of pakistan dared to prosecute ex army chief aslam beg. Also the judges are aware how the court virdict in the case of ISI funding to politicians has been thrown in the dust bin and the political government could not dare to initiate any action against gen duranni and gen beg. Gen Mushraf is either Bhutto who was sent to the gallows primarily because the politicians as an institution abondoned him rather likes of zahoor elahi and mian tufail mohammad were the main abettor of zia in bhutto's hanging. He is also not Nawas Sharif who could be implicated in false hijacking case and then forced to exile of course again with the abettment of house of zahoor. One may disagree with revered and outspoken Asma Jehangir when she says that army is the real ruler of this country, but the it is true .despite the fact that gen kiyani kept himself away from meddling in the politicial affairs throughout his tenure but as an institution, army never allows its ex generals to be tried and punished even when the army was on its weekest footing after fall of Dacca, it did not allow trial of gen yahya and even did not allow Hoomdur Rehman Report to be made public.
cmmon ET where is my comment
"Well doen Great Leader. You will be President of Pakistan soon."
Can you explain how this would happen??
Love my Mushi He is better than Imran People will agree not now maybe in 100 years but they will
Without any doubt Musharraf is the best political leader in the country. He is courageous, honest, visionary and bold. He has fulfilled whatever he has been saying while in exile. Many political leaders and their paid media tv anchors have been repeatedly and shamelessly saying that Musharraf would never come to the country to face the cases against him. But Musharraf stood at his resolves and surely will not disappoint the nation in future.
Long live Pakistan, long live Musharraf.
Nobody should believe the rumours that Musharraf will flee but instead quietly leave the country after receiving bail in all cases and not come back to Pakistan till all cases are withdrawn against him and he is honorably acquitted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
LONG LIVE MUSHARAFF ! You are true man and a soldier, nothing can shake you.
Appreciate him facing the cases even in the presence of a secret deal between Saudi Govt and NS to not execute him. If he were NS, he would have flown to KSA.
There are many examples of bravery in our society, but far fewer examples of courage. Gen Musharraf is definitely one of a kind.
sufficient popularity??? dream on....
Well doen Great Leader. You will be President of Pakistan soon.
Once a commando always a commando. Proud to be Musharraf's supporter.
Hats off to Parvez Musharraf for his bravery and perseverance. Any of our other political leaders would have escaped on false pretences, as they have done in the past.. The truth will triumph.
While there is Musharraf, there is hope for Pakistan.
True brave leader....we luv u Musharraf.
" All Pakistan Muslim League (AMPL)"
