GHALLANAI: Security forces will safeguard the ideological and geographical borders of the country at every cost, said Corps Commander Peshawar Lt. Gen Khalid Rabbani, while addressing soldiers during his visit to Mohmand Agency.

Speaking at Mamad Gat Camp on Friday, Rabbani said: “Due to the sacrifices of the security forces in the tribal areas, Mohmand Agency has been cleared of militants. We will render more sacrifices in the future to protect our tribesmen.”

Rabbani said the writ of the government has been completely restored because of strong cooperation from Mohmand tribesmen. “Without their help, there would be no peace in the area.”

Earlier he was received by Brigadier Amir Abbasi, Mohmand Political Agent Khushal Khan and Commandant Col Umar Bukhari. Rabbani was accompanied by IGFC Major General Ghayur Mahmood.

The IGFC and Corps Commander also visited Baizai sub-division and inspected security check posts on Pak-Afghan border. They met soldiers and inspected the newly-constructed Gursal Gate.
