QUETTA: Earthquake tremors of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted areas in Balochistan late Wednesday night, Express News reported.

The epicentre of the quake lay 97 kilometres west of Dera Ghazi Khan, while the depth was reported to be at 10 km underground.

The shocks were felt in Quetta as well as areas in and around Zhob, Loralai and Musa Khel.

The seismically volatile province of Balochistan is still reeling from the damages caused by the 7.7 magnitude earthquake last month, and a number of strong aftershocks which has caused over 500 casualties besides reducing 90 per cent of Awaran district to dust.
