ISLAMABAD:
A Kuwaiti delegation led by Ambassador Mohammad Ahmed Al-Mirjin Al-Roumi, Director, Asia Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait visited Pakistan for the first round of bilateral political consultations between the two countries. During the visit, the Kuwaiti delegation paid a courtesy call on the Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz. A review of bilateral relations took place during the call. The adviser recalled that Pakistan was amongst the first countries that contributed in de-mining Kuwait during which precious Pakistani lives were also lost. Ambassador Roumi acknowledged the contributions made by Pakistan in the rehabilitation, reconstruction and development of Kuwait.
